One more from April #scrolloftheyear because these details are too scrumptious not to pop on the grid. For those interested, the petals and leaves are created using fishbone stitch, one of my faves. April's reminders to look back on and to take forward. Do any of them resonate? Head over my blog to read about how I arrived at these life lessons. Sending love 💗 April #scrolloftheyear : Things to remember. These came out of a thought journalling session when I was feeling low about the flat sale falling through and anxious about my small business. I love that I can look back on these statements in the scroll and that they will also remind me of the strength I found to keep going. Roses from the garden and flower stitched by hand. The act of creating something, bringing light from within to without, tells us that it is not all darkness. When I see my work, I see hope, joy and a spark of determination reflected back at me. I did something a little bit different this month for #scrolloftheyear . I've been struggling with my mental health and small everyday joys have been elusive. My joy in creativity prevails however and I felt what I needed to feel, gave myself the gift of some peaceful stitching and embroidered myself a meadow. You can read a little bit more on the blog. March #scrolloftheyear is ready to be stitched, which is a win for me as it's still March! March sketches...
